We’re looking for an engineer who builds and ships. This is a hands-on role on our development team, focused on bringing AI capabilities directly into Wilmac’s SaaS products. You’ll design and implement AI-powered features that our customers interact with every day — from intelligent workflows and retrieval systems to agent-driven automation.

You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to internal AI initiatives that improve how our teams work, but your primary focus will be product development.

What We’re Looking For

4–7 years of experience in software engineering, systems integration, or technical implementation — we’re open to strong candidates at both ends of that range
Hands-on experience building with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
Strong understanding of AI application patterns: RAG, structured outputs, tool use, and agent workflows
Experience integrating third-party APIs and SaaS platforms
Ability to work cross-functionally with both technical and business teams
Strong ownership mindset and bias toward execution
1+ years of work experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)

We don’t require a specific tech stack. Whether you reach for an off-the-shelf automation platform, deploy open-source software, or build something custom, we care that you can choose the right tool for the job and deliver a working result.

Nice to Have

Experience with workflow automation platforms (e.g., n8n, Make, Zapier)
Familiarity with AI evaluation or observability tools (e.g., LangSmith, Braintrust)
Background in SaaS product development
Experience in contact center, workforce management, or regulated industry environments
