Wilmac Technologies is thrilled to collect toys for the holidays for the third year, ultimately benefiting the Pirate Toy Fund. This charity program provides toys to children in need in the Greater Rochester Area.
The Pirate Toy Fund is the only nonprofit organization in the country dedicated to distributing new toys year-round to children in need throughout the Greater Rochester region. Co-founded by local entertainers Gary the Happy Pirate and Dave and Lorrie Simonetti, the Pirate Toy Fund has distributed over 500,000 toys since 1995 and continues to pursue new avenues to actively expand its mission.
Together with other participating local businesses, Wilmac Technologies will be collecting new, unwrapped toys and will donate them on Wednesday, December 20th. Through this initiative, we aim to support families in our HQ city of Rochester, NY, while encouraging our employees to come together in the spirit of giving.
Wilmac Technologies is honored to collaborate with the Pirate Toy Fund for the third straight year, recognizing the vital role it plays in fostering joy and resilience within the Greater Rochester community. Committed to making a meaningful impact, we eagerly anticipate contributing to the Pirate Toy Fund’s longstanding tradition of bringing smiles to the faces of children in need.
The Pirate Toy Fund has numerous other ways to get involved in their initiatives and welcomes monetary donations via their online donation portal.
